Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, nights, and varied shifts
- Must have ability to raise and carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs
- Must be physically able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and stand for entire shifts
- Must be able to hear well in a loud environment
- Must be able to operate point of sale system
- Must comply with state, county, or municipal health regulations related to food handling
- Must be able to pass all required training and tests for the position
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Ability to learn and follow instructions
- Meets uniform and grooming standards
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Knowledge of safe cash handling procedures
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival and departure
- Manage guest seating using proper seating rotation and maintain waiting lists
- Take initial beverage orders and suggest promotions during seating
- Handle cash, credit card, and discount transactions accurately and safely
- Assist service personnel with beverage orders, table clearing, and resetting
- Address guest complaints and concerns courteously and promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized foyer area and complete all required cleaning and side-work duties
