Beyond direct guest interaction, the host/hostess must effectively manage the seating rotation system to maximize customer satisfaction and restaurant efficiency. They will utilize paging systems as needed during busy times and provide guests with a positive dining experience from beginning to end, which includes offering a final salutation as guests exit. Additionally, they will handle phone calls professionally, responding to inquiries about restaurant operations such as hours, reservations, and directions.
