The role of Host at PRESS Restaurant is pivotal to its continued success, as this position represents the first point of contact for guests, establishing the initial impression and setting the tone for their entire dining experience. As a Host, you will be responsible for managing the overall flow of service and coordinating reservations using the Tock reservation system. This responsibility includes returning phone calls, composing emails, and organizing reservations according to a floor map to ensure smooth seating arrangements. A comprehensive understanding of the restaurant's protocols and policies is essential in delivering an efficient and welcoming atmosphere. This part-time position requires an enthusiastic, professional individual with a passion for hospitality and guest service. Candidates should have one to two years of prior experience in a similar role, with knowledge of the Tock system considered a valuable asset. The schedule includes availability on Friday and Saturday evenings, along with one to two additional nights per week, beginning at 3:00 PM. Compensation for this role includes an hourly wage plus tips, reflecting the importance of customer interaction and service quality.
