Job Description
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a well-known full-service restaurant chain celebrated for its casual and laid-back atmosphere combined with a uniquely quirky vibe. Established as a high-volume dining destination, Red Robin specializes in serving up burgers that go beyond just taste - they aim to inspire guests with fun, connection, and generous hospitality. The company prides itself on its inclusive culture that embraces diversity and a sense of belonging, ensuring that Red Robin is a welcoming place for everyone. This hospitality-driven brand aims to make every dining experience fresh, fun, memorable, and guaranteed to make guests smile. Since many of the restaurant’s managers began their careers as hourly team members, the company offers excellent opportunities for growth and career advancement within its dynamic environment.
The role of Host at Red Robin is an essential part of the Front of House service team, acting as the first point of contact for guests. As a Host, you are responsible for providing a warm and friendly welcome, creating a great first impression that sets the tone for the entire dining experience. This includes greeting guests as they arrive, escorting them to their tables, and managing reservations and wait lists during busy periods. Strong customer service skills are critical in this role, as hosts are tasked with ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. This position requires individuals who can maintain a positive attitude, handle busy meal times with grace, and contribute to the overall lively and magnetic energy that defines the Red Robin brand. Hosts must be at least 17 years old and are rewarded with flexible work schedules that accommodate a variety of lifestyles.
In addition to competitive hourly pay ranging from $12.20 to $14.72, Red Robin offers an attractive benefits package to its hosts. Employees enjoy a 50% discount on food and a 25% discount for family members, making it easy to enjoy the brand's famous menu offerings. Referral bonuses are available for those who bring new team members onboard, incentivizing collaboration and team growth. Qualified employees can also participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Program after one year of service and meet hour requirements. Other benefits include comprehensive health insurance options such as medical, vision, dental, as well as coverage for accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity (available at age 18 and older). Retirement benefits are also provided through a 401k plan with company matching for eligible employees aged 21 and over. Paid time off is accrued based on hours worked, supporting work-life balance for team members who meet the qualifying hours and service duration. Red Robin maintains ongoing hiring, continuously welcoming great candidates who share their passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences. This role is not only about serving burgers but also about becoming part of a vibrant team that strives to make dining memorable and fun every day.
