This job opening is for the position of Host or Hostess, offering an essential role within the restaurant. The host is responsible for being the first and last point of contact for guests, providing an excellent hospitality experience by managing the overall flow of the restaurant. This position is vital in ensuring guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and informed throughout their dining experience. Hosts are tasked with greeting guests courteously, answering inquiries, managing seating arrangements, quoting accurate wait times when necessary, and assisting with reservations and takeout orders. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods. The Host position is available for both full-time and part-time employment, offering a pay range of $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
