Job Description

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a high-volume, full-service restaurant chain known for its laid-back atmosphere and uniquely quirky vibe. The company prides itself on serving exceptional burgers, affectionately termed as burgers beyond yumagination, alongside their world-famous bottomless steak fries. Red Robin is more than just a burger restaurant; it's a place where connection, fun, and generosity are core values embraced by their team and customers alike. The company places a strong emphasis on a sense of belonging, welcoming diversity and fostering an inclusive environment where similarities and differences are equally celebrated. Established as a leader in the casual dining industry, Red Robin has created a culture that rewards energy, enthusiasm, and unbridled hospitality, making it a vibrant workplace for individuals passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences.

The Host position at Red Robin is an integral part of the Front of House service team, responsible for creating the very first impression guests receive when entering the restaurant. This role demands a friendly and approachable demeanor, ensuring guests feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. Hosts greet guests, escort them to their tables, and manage reservations and waitlists when necessary. The role is customer-service focused, requiring candidates to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and maintain excellent communication skills. The employment type for this position is hourly, with a pay range starting from $11.38 to $13.72 per hour.

Apart from the competitive wages, this role offers flexible work schedules that accommodate a variety of lifestyle needs. Employees enjoy significant discounts on Red Robin food – 50 percent off for themselves and 25 percent off for family members, enhancing the overall employee experience. Red Robin also encourages team growth and development with referral bonuses for bringing new staff members on board, plus additional benefits and compensation programs designed to reward loyalty and performance.

Red Robin demonstrates a strong commitment to its employees' well-being through comprehensive health insurance plans that include vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage available to workers aged 18 and older. Furthermore, the company provides a 401k retirement plan with a company match up to 4 percent of pay which becomes accessible to employees aged 21 and older after completing one year of service and 1,000 hours per year. Paid time off is accrued for long-term employees working at least 35 hours per week, providing a balance between work and personal life. The position is open to candidates aged 17 and older, and Red Robin continuously accepts applications, fostering an ongoing search for motivated individuals who share their passion for hospitality.

Working at Red Robin is an opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team where many current managers started as hourly team members, showcasing the tremendous growth potential within the company. The mission of the restaurant is clear and consistent – Make it fresh. Make it fun. Make it memorable. And above all, make 'em smile. This position offers a unique chance for candidates to begin or grow their careers in the hospitality industry with a renowned brand that values personality, energy, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
