This emphasis on connection, generosity, and memorable dining experiences has made the company a beloved destination for burger enthusiasts and families alike. At Red Robin, the core mission is clear: Make it fresh. Make it fun. Make it memorable. And above all, Make 'em smile. This guiding principle drives every team member to create an unforgettable experience for every guest.
Red Robin is more than just a restaurant. It is a place where employees find a sense of belonging and are encouraged to embrace both similarities and differences, fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone is welcome. The company values growth and offers excellent opportunities for career development. Many of their managers started as hourly team members, showcasing the company's commitment to promoting from within. This culture of advancement and continuous learning makes Red Robin an attractive employer for individuals seeking both a dynamic work environment and a clear career path.
The role of a Host at Red Robin is an essential part of the Front of House service team, responsible for creating a great first impression. Hosts greet guests with friendliness and enthusiasm, ensuring they feel welcomed from the moment they enter the restaurant. A key responsibility includes escorting guests to their tables and managing reservations along with waitlists when necessary. This role demands excellent customer service skills, as hosts are often the initial point of contact and set the tone for the dining experience. The position is suited for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for hospitality.
Employment in this position requires individuals to be at least 17 years old. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $12.08 to $14.56, making it an excellent entry-level opportunity with room for financial growth. Additionally, the position is eligible for various benefits, including flexible work schedules to accommodate different lifestyles, a generous 50% discount on Red Robin food for employees and a 25% discount for their family members, as well as referral bonuses for bringing new members to the team. Other compensation benefits include an employee stock purchase program, applicable after one year of service with a minimum weekly hour commitment, providing employees an opportunity to invest in the company.
Health insurance options are comprehensive, covering health, vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage for employees aged 18 and over. Retirement benefits include a 401k plan with a company match up to 4% of pay, available to employees aged 21 and above who have met service requirements, encouraging long-term financial planning. Paid time off is also provided after one year of service for employees working more than 35 hours per week, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Red Robin's application process is ongoing, welcoming enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join their vibrant team at any time. Developing a career as a Host at Red Robin means becoming part of a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant committed to outstanding service and a fun workplace culture that truly makes a difference every day.
