The company takes pride in creating an environment where guests feel a strong sense of belonging, and both similarities and differences among people are embraced. Red Robin is recognized as a high-volume, energetic restaurant concept that offers excellent opportunities for career growth, making it an ideal workplace for those who are passionate about hospitality and customer service.
At Red Robin, the Host position plays a crucial role in setting the tone for the guest experience. As the first point of contact for guests, hosts are responsible for making a great first impression by displaying a friendly and welcoming demeanor. They ensure guests feel comfortable and valued by promptly escorting them to their tables and managing reservations and waitlists when necessary. This role is an essential part of the Front of House service team and requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage guest flow efficiently, and the capacity to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
The employment type for this position is part-time or flexible scheduling, suitable for individuals seeking a work-life balance while gaining valuable experience in the hospitality industry. The hourly wage ranges from $13.04 to $15.72, reflecting the company's commitment to competitive compensation. Additionally, hosts at Red Robin can enjoy exclusive benefits such as a 50% discount on Red Robin food, 25% food discounts for family members, referral bonuses for bringing new team members, and opportunities for career advancement.
Red Robin also supports its employees with comprehensive benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage for eligible team members aged 18 and over. Retirement benefits include a 401k plan with company matching up to 4% of pay for those 21 and older who meet service hour requirements. Paid time off is available to long-term employees working 35 or more hours per week. The application process is ongoing, allowing candidates to apply at their convenience and join a team that values unbridled hospitality and a passion for outstanding guest service.
This role is ideal for individuals who are 17 years or older, enthusiastic about engaging with people, and eager to contribute to a positive and energetic restaurant environment. Red Robin's mission to "Make it fresh. Make it fun. Make it memorable. And above all, make 'em smile." is lived daily by hosts who welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, helping to create memorable dining experiences for all who walk through the doors.
