Currently, P.F. Chang's is hiring for the position of Host or Hostess, available for both full-time and part-time employment. The pay range for this role is competitive, ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. This role plays a crucial part in creating an outstanding hospitality experience by managing the overall flow of the restaurant and being the face that guests first see when entering the establishment. Hosts set the tone for guests’ visits by ensuring a warm and professional welcome and managing seating arrangements efficiently.

The Host or Hostess is responsible for delivering an excellent first and last impression, handling guest inquiries, quoting accurate wait times during busy periods, and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation throughout the dining area. They handle multiple responsibilities including greeting guests, answering phones, making reservations, assisting with take-out orders, and coordinating with servers to enhance the dining experience. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Job Duties

  • Interact courteously with guests including answering phones, greeting guests, seating guests, making reservations, taking food orders
  • Uphold high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area, and crowd control
  • Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food
  • Set and clear tables neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang's specifications
  • Learn curbside process and takeout expectations
  • Conduct side-work as required for each shift
