About the Role:

The role of a host at Wagamama is pivotal to the dining experience, serving as the first impression and the warm welcome that guests receive when they arrive.   • ability to stand and walk for long periods

  • ability to move quickly and safely in a crowded environment

Job Qualifications

  • prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • OpenTable experience preferred but not required
  • strong communication and phone etiquette
  • positive attitude, team first mindset and willingness to jump in where needed
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • welcome guests with warmth, confidence, and genuine hospitality
  • create a memorable first impression while managing seating and waitlists
  • communicate wait times clearly and proactively to guests
  • support smooth service by coordinating with servers, managers, and kitchen teams
  • fill take out orders for walk ins and online guests with accuracy and care
  • work alongside teammates to complete side work
