Job Description

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a high-volume, full-service restaurant brand known for its laid-back atmosphere and uniquely quirky vibe. Established as a leader in the casual dining industry, Red Robin has built a reputation for serving high-quality, fresh burgers and offers a customer experience that goes beyond just food. The company prides itself on fostering a welcoming environment that celebrates both similarities and differences, making Red Robin a place for everyone. With a mission to make it fresh, fun, memorable, and to make guests smile, Red Robin emphasizes connection, fun, and generosity in every interaction. The restaurant also believes deeply in giving back to the team through excellent growth opportunities, with many managers having started their careers as hourly team members.

The role of Host at Red Robin is essential as the first point of contact for guests, playing a critical role in shaping their dining experience. Hosts are responsible for creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, managing guest seating by escorting them to tables, and handling reservations and waitlists when necessary. This position is part of the Front of House service team, which means excellent customer service and a positive attitude are key requirements. The hours can be flexible, allowing team members to balance work with other commitments, making it a great opportunity for those seeking part-time or flexible scheduling. Hosts must be at least 17 years old to apply.

In addition to a competitive pay range from $12.14 to $14.65 per hour, the position includes several benefits designed to support employees both personally and professionally. These include a generous 50% discount on Red Robin food for the employee and a 25% discount for their family, referral bonuses that reward employees for bringing new members to the team, and opportunities for advancement. Additional company benefits include health insurance plans that cover vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity for those 18 and older. Red Robin also offers a 401(k) retirement plan with company match for employees over 21 with sufficient tenure and hours worked, paid time off accruing after eligibility requirements are met, and an employee stock purchase program for employees with one or more years of service working 20 or more hours weekly. Red Robin embraces diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, encouraging applications from passionate individuals who love hospitality and are eager to grow with a fun and dynamic team. By becoming a Host at Red Robin, team members gain a platform to build customer service skills in a lively environment while contributing to a memorable dining experience that reflects Red Robin’s core values.
