Job Description

Cooper's Hawk is a distinguished lifestyle brand that uniquely combines a Napa-style tasting room with a wine-inspired retail experience, integrated with a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event space. Founded in 2005, Cooper's Hawk has cultivated a modern yet casual dining environment that emphasizes fresh, scratch-kitchen menu items expertly designed to pair with their award-winning wines. Located across multiple venues, the company not only offers exquisite dining but also an extensive Wine Club, considered one of the largest globally. This club delivers exclusive benefits that include curated dining events and special travel experiences, allowing members to truly immerse themselves in the Napa Valley lifestyle. The innovative addition of Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk introduces diners to the vibrant and authentic flavors of Rome, further expanding the brand’s culinary footprint. As a company, Cooper's Hawk strives to create memorable experiences that bring together fine wine, exceptional food, and a palpable sense of community and hospitality.

The Host role at Cooper's Hawk is paramount to setting the tone for every guest's experience. From the moment a guest arrives until they say their final farewell, Hosts embody the company’s commitment to uncompromising hospitality. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere through energetic greetings, smooth coordination of table flow, and engaging guest interactions that emphasize attentiveness and warmth. Hosts play a critical role in managing the dining room to ensure seamless pacing and efficient seating arrangements, always aiming to minimize wait times and maximize guest satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include answering guest phone calls professionally, addressing special seating requests, and supporting the broader team as needed. The position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring excellent multitasking abilities, clear communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Cooper's Hawk values its team members by providing an attractive benefits package including dining and retail discounts, monthly wine tastings, comprehensive medical coverage, a 401k plan with company match, paid time off, flexible schedules, wellness and mental health support, and opportunities for career growth and education. The company fosters a culture that promotes teamwork, recognition, and personal and professional development. This role not only offers a chance to be part of a successful and growing brand but also contributes to the ongoing creation of unique and memorable guest experiences that reflect the essence of Cooper's Hawk's vision.
