The Host role at Snooze is crucial as it marks the beginning and end of every guest's dining experience. The Host is responsible for managing the host stand, seating guests promptly, maintaining the coffee station and outside patio, and engaging guests while they wait to be seated. Regular interaction with guests, addressing their needs, and ensuring their comfort is paramount. Hosts at Snooze are also expected to handle administrative tasks such as managing the waitlist via iPad systems, answering phones, taking and entering to-go orders, and supporting other team members with food delivery and bussing up tables. Snooze offers competitive pay ranging between $14.00 and $17.00 per hour, emphasizing a balanced work-life situation by ensuring no late-night shifts so employees can enjoy evenings at home.
