Job Description
Astor Creek Country Club is a prestigious and vibrant private club located on the Treasure Coast in Port St. Lucie, Florida, one of the fastest-growing cities in the state. This exclusive club offers a rich blend of recreation, luxury, and social engagement, centering around a stunning, signature 18-hole golf course. Designed to provide a balance of challenge, tranquility, and playability, the golf course is complemented by extensive facilities including a Pro Shop, a 15-acre driving range, a 3-acre short game complex, and a 15,000-square-foot practice putting green. Beyond golf, Astor Creek Country Club offers a variety of amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness facility, multiple sports courts, diverse dining options, a lively Sports Bar, and a resort-style pool designed to enhance the member experience.
We are currently seeking Hosts to join our Food and Beverage (F&B) team. This part-time position, paying $16 per hour, offers an opportunity to be part of a culture that values work-life balance and promotes a rewarding lifestyle for team members. The hosts play a key role in delivering exceptional service by warmly welcoming members and guests, providing seating arrangements, and ensuring an inviting atmosphere in our dining and event areas. As a Host or Hostess at Astor Creek Country Club, you will be the first point of contact for guests in the dining room, banquet areas, patio, and bar, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to greet and seat members and guests efficiently and courteously while maintaining order and cleanliness throughout service areas. Hosts are also expected to handle guest complaints tactfully and ensure that service standards and food quality meet our high expectations. Active participation in the setup and breakdown of food and beverage activities is part of the responsibilities. As a vital member of the F&B team, hosts assist in monitoring the preparation of food and beverages to maintain quality, portion control, and presentation standards. The ideal candidate will display professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
Working under the supervision of the Dining Room Manager, Hosts will work on shift assignments and need to be adaptable to varying work hours. The position entails some physical activity including standing for extended periods, the occasional lifting of weights up to 40 pounds, and navigating both indoor and outdoor environments. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and desires to contribute to the exceptional service standards of a prestigious country club. Joining Astor Creek Country Club means becoming part of a respected community, where your role directly impacts the guest experience and overall club atmosphere. If you have previous host or server experience and a passion for hospitality, this position offers a fulfilling and dynamic career opportunity.
