Job Description

Crossover Health is an innovative national medical group devoted to revolutionizing health care through a comprehensive, team-based approach focused on wellbeing and prevention rather than traditional sick care. The company offers an advanced and fully integrated model called Primary Health that fosters trusted relationships among an interdisciplinary care team and is supported by outcomes-based payment systems. Crossover Health's patient-centered care model successfully blends primary care, physical medicine, mental health services, health coaching, and care navigation to ensure a personalized and holistic experience for its members. This model is delivered through various modes including in-person visits, virtual consultations, and asynchronous messaging, creating a surround-sound care environment. This integration helps members proactively manage their health and well-being as a core part of their lifestyle.

The role available at Crossover Health is that of a Host, which is essential to delivering an exceptional member service experience. Positioned at the frontline of patient interactions, this role is crucial in welcoming and assisting members as they check in to the health center, effectively managing their flow throughout the clinic. The Host is expected to uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of self-insured employer health insurance, including copays, co-insurance, and other related benefits to support members adequately. This role also involves managing communications such as answering calls, scheduling appointments, responding to emails, and following up on member needs to ensure seamless and personalized service.

In addition to member interactions, the Host supports various clinic workflows, assists with assigned projects and special requests from providers or patients, and processes visit-related transactions. Collaboration with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate a smooth, patient-centered care experience is a key part of the job. The role offers a supportive working environment and contributes significantly to the innovative care model that Crossover Health champions. The base pay for the position ranges from $22.51 to $29 per hour, with actual pay varying by location and experience. Crossover Health also provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans. This is an onsite position underlining the company's commitment to delivering personal, high-quality healthcare experiences on the ground.
