The Host role at Atlas Restaurant Group is a vital position responsible for creating a positive first impression for guests, ensuring excellent service, and maintaining the establishment’s high standards. The Host welcomes guests upon arrival, manages wait times, monitors waiting lists, inputs guest information into the computer system, answers phone inquiries, and processes to-go orders. This position plays an integral role in managing the flow and pace of dining services. The Host also escorts guests to their tables and bids them farewell as they leave, ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience.
This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and demands strong organizational and multitasking skills. Hosts at Atlas Restaurant Group use technology such as Toast Point-of-Sale (POS), Restaurant365 systems, and OpenTable to manage reservations and guest information efficiently. A basic knowledge of English is preferred for effective communication, along with the ability to understand and follow company directives and government policies. Emotional intelligence and the ability to work calmly under pressure are important to succeed in this position. Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, with tasks requiring agility and quick responses to emergencies.
Atlas Restaurant Group strives to provide full-time employees (working 30+ hours) with competitive compensation ranging from $13.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on location, along with comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k contributions, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, learning and development programs, advancement opportunities, pet insurance, and employee discounts.
