At Over Easy, the host role is crucial as it marks the beginning and end of every guest experience. Serving as the gatekeeper or "Porta" to the restaurant, the host creates the first and last impressions that significantly impact overall guest satisfaction. Hosts manage the flow of guests efficiently using a waitlist iPad system, seat guests promptly, and assist with various operational tasks like answering phones and coordinating guest requests. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- authorized to work in the U.S.
- maintain a valid Food Handlers' certification
- able to stand for long periods
- able to handle a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills
- prior customer service or restaurant experience preferred

Job Duties
- Welcome each guest upon arrival and thank them for joining Over Easy when they leave
- seat each guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist iPad system
- if on a wait keep, remember it is our job to Spark Brighter Days
- answer phones, be able to answer guest questions or get them to the person that can best take care of that guest needs
- respond appropriately to guest requests
- communicate guest requests to server as needed
- assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables
