The Patient Food Services department at Saint Francis Hospital is currently seeking dedicated individuals for a part-time role on a rotating shift schedule. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive their meals in an efficient and courteous manner, directly impacting patient satisfaction and well-being during their hospital stay. The position involves the transport, delivery, and retrieval of food trays from patient rooms and is responsible for maintaining a smooth operation within the food service team. Reporting directly to the Food Service Supervisor or Manager, this role requires a motivated individual who can handle moderate physical activity including stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling trays. The work environment demands extended periods of standing or walking, and the ability to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, hairnets or masks, slip-resistant shoes, and eye protection.

Candidates must be able to comply with Trinity Health's policies and procedures, emphasizing safety, hygiene, and professionalism in every aspect of the role. The position is ideal for someone with a prior background in the food service industry, although it is not mandatory. Basic proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking, along with the ability to follow oral and written instructions, is required.
