Our Cleveland IHOP location is currently hiring Hosts who will serve as the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant. This role is vital in setting the tone for a memorable dining experience by greeting guests warmly and managing the flow of seating. As a Host, you will work in a fast-paced environment that demands excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a positive, friendly demeanor. Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Accurately manage the seating chart and assign tables to guests based on their party size and wait times
- Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions
- Answer phone calls, complete to-go orders, and assist with any inquiries or requests
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including waiting areas and host stand
- Collaborate with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Manage guest waitlist efficiently during busy periods, ensuring a positive experience
- Handle guest feedback and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with light cleaning and stocking as needed, including resetting tables by cleaning chairs, booths, and floors
