The Green Hills location of Emmy Squared is now hiring experienced Hosts to join their dynamic team. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior host or front of house experience
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to operate reservation software such as Open Table and Toast
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to perform job-related tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs
  • positive attitude and customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • provide courteous, prompt service to guests
  • answer incoming phone calls promptly
  • seat guests by locating clean, available tables, pulling out chairs, and placing menus
  • adhere to seating guidelines for equitable server distribution
  • greet guests warmly upon arrival
  • assist with take-out orders
  • monitor dining areas for seating availability, service, and guest safety
  • assist servers when needed
  • thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
  • manage reservations using platforms like Open Table and Toast
  • adhere to Emmy's Steps of Service
  • demonstrate working knowledge of menu and beverage offerings
  • communicate guest requests and dietary restrictions to culinary staff
  • perform opening and closing duties
  • maintain a clean and presentable work environment
