Job Description
Heritage Restaurant Group is a prominent player in New Mexico's hospitality landscape, known for being part of the state's largest locally owned hospitality company. This group unites an array of chef-driven restaurants, inventive culinary concepts, and vibrant destination venues such as Sawmill Market, Park Square Market, The Smoky Note, and the soon-to-open Santa Fe Food Market. The company prides itself on creating authentic experiences rooted in exceptional service and community pride, celebrating culture through food and genuine hospitality. Their commitment to quality and authenticity resonates through all their offerings, making them a beloved name in the regional food and beverage scene. This workplace culture emphasizes leadership with heart and passion for service, inviting individuals who share these values to join the Heritage family.
Baby Dolls House of Blues & Jazz, a key venue within the Heritage Restaurant Group, represents a vibrant nightlife destination that combines live music, elevated cocktails, and an energetic atmosphere for an unforgettable guest experience. Deeply embedded in the spirit of blues, jazz, and soulful expression, Baby Dolls offers a dynamic environment where music, culture, and nightlife converge. This role demands a high-energy, late-night setting where personality, presence, and hospitality passion are as critical as technical skills behind the bar.
As a Host at Baby Dolls House of Blues & Jazz, you will play a pivotal role as the first and last impression of a guest's visit. Your responsibilities include welcoming guests with warmth, energy, and confidence while managing seating and guest flow in a bustling environment. You ensure that every guest feels valued from arrival to departure, supporting a seamless and memorable experience. The role requires excellent coordination with servers, bartenders, and leadership to maintain efficient service and manage table turnover. Maintaining a polished host stand and entrance area, handling guest concerns professionally, and contributing to a welcoming, team-focused atmosphere are also integral to the position.
This is more than just a hospitality role; it's an opportunity to be part of a passionate team that thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences in a culturally rich and dynamic setting. Candidates who thrive on fast-paced environments, have strong communication skills, and a polished professional demeanor will find this role rewarding and engaging. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits including a 401k match, employee discounts across multiple venues, complimentary meals during shifts, free parking, and ample opportunities for growth and development, all within an inclusive, people-first culture.
