Job Description

Atlas Restaurant Group is a prominent and rapidly expanding restaurant company based in Baltimore, known for its dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences and high standards of service. The group comprises a variety of dining establishments that offer diverse culinary options and create welcoming environments for guests. The company's commitment to community involvement and employee development makes it a desirable place to work and grow professionally.

This Host position is crucial as the first point of contact for guests, presenting a warm and positive first impression that reflects the company's values of friendliness, excellent service, and high standards. Hosts greet guests upon arrival, manage wait times, and coordinate seating to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. They also handle reservations, maintain organization at the host stand, and communicate guest needs and special occasions to management and other staff.

The role requires excellent multitasking and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Hosts ensure that cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met, including keeping menus clean and performing regular cleaning duties. They are also responsible for rotating seating to balance server workloads, which helps maintain the rhythm of the dining room service. Ability to operate point-of-sale and reservation systems like Toast POS, Restaurant365, and OpenTable is essential.

Employment type varies, with both full-time and part-time positions available, offering competitive hourly wages depending on the state: Maryland ($15.00 - $22.00/hour), Pennsylvania ($15.00 - $17.00/hour), Delaware ($13.25 - $15.00/hour), Florida ($13.00 - $16.50/hour), and Texas ($15.00 - $25.00/hour). Benefits are robust for full-time employees working over 30 hours, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k contributions, life and AD&D insurance, learning and development opportunities, mobility and advancement prospects, pet insurance, and discounts across Atlas properties. Part-time employees also receive benefits such as 401k contributions, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, learning programs, career growth opportunities, and property discounts.

Joining Atlas Restaurant Group means much more than just obtaining a job; it is about becoming part of a fast-growing company with a passion for service excellence and community impact. The group encourages open communication with ownership and senior management and supports individual career growth and professional development. The Host role, therefore, is both an entry-level opportunity and a stepping stone toward a rewarding and meaningful career in hospitality, offering a vibrant work environment and a chance to contribute to the company’s overall success and reputation.
