Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Talking with guests and answering phones throughout your shift

Job Qualifications

  • Friendly, professional, and quick on your feet
  • Can communicate clearly in person and on the phone
  • Organized and confident using a POS or reservation system
  • Comfortable handling basic math for party counts, bills, or reservations
  • Previous host or customer service experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet every guest like they’re family and seat them with intention
  • Manage reservations and waitlists, making sure both guests and servers are set up for success
  • Stay aware of what’s happening in the restaurant—events, crowd flow, table turns, and special requests
  • Keep up with the menu, specials, 86’d items, drinks, and anything else guests may ask about
  • Know your floor plan like the back of your hand—seat numbers, capacity, setup, and more
  • Share info about local happenings or attractions to enhance the guest experience
