The role of Host at 13 Coins is essential as the first point of contact for guests, setting a positive tone for their overall experience. This position requires someone who can warmly welcome guests, managing the flow of service within the establishment to create a smooth and enjoyable visit. Hosts are tasked with greeting guests, managing wait lists and seating arrangements, and providing accurate information about menu options and specials. Coordination with servers and kitchen staff is vital to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Additionally, the Host addresses any inquiries or issues guests may have and strives to maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift. Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • manage wait list and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times
  • provide guests with information about menu items and specials offered
  • coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
  • address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner
  • answer incoming telephone calls
  • set and clear tables if needed
  • maintain a clean and organized desk area
  • perform restroom check every 30 minutes to maintain cleanliness
  • perform phone to go orders
