The role we are hiring for is that of a Restaurant Host / Hostess / Greeter, who plays a vital role in setting the tone for guest experiences from the moment they walk through our doors. This position requires someone who can open the door for our guests, accommodate their unique needs, manage the wait list during busy times, assist servers, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Although prior experience as a host, hostess, greeter, or maître d' is preferred, it is not mandatory. We welcome enthusiastic candidates who are at least 16 years old and eager to learn and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced casual dining setting. This role demands excellent communication skills, mobility to be active throughout the shift, and the physical capability to perform various duties such as carrying light objects and cleaning tables. Job Requirements

  • must be 16 years or older to be considered for this opportunity
  • must be able to stand and exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to four hours in length
  • must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees

Job Qualifications

  • reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
  • mobility required during the entire shift
  • transports and carries objects (such as highchair) up to 15 pounds up to 15 times a shift
  • ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant

Job Duties

  • opens door for guests arriving and departing
  • accommodates any special needs of guests, i.e., boosters, highchairs, disabilities
  • manages the wait list when the restaurant is full
  • provides guest assistance to servers as needed
  • maintains a clean and organized work area and completes cleaning as assigned
  • fills out the feature board and inflates balloons
