One of the largest operators of IHOP Casual Family Dining restaurants is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team. This role focuses on providing an exceptional guest experience by greeting and seating guests promptly, cheerful, and courteously. The position requires maintaining professionalism and functional working relationships with both IHOP employees and guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests as they enter the restaurant, ensuring guests are seated within 30 seconds if a table is available. Managing station seating rotation allows for maintaining high-quality guest service standards. Additionally, handling guest complaints sensitively, inquiring about the quality of their dining experience, thanking guests, and inviting them to return are key components of this role. This position also includes answering the telephone, taking messages, and managing all To Go orders efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction. The employee will maintain an organized waiting list as necessary and perform hourly checks of restrooms to ensure proper stock levels and cleanliness. The role demands excellent communication skills, customer service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
