This role is for a Restaurant Host/Hostess who will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and escort guests to their tables, provide seating choices, and present menus, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they enter. You will play an essential part in maintaining communication between shifts through diligent log book entries, ensuring that all staff members are up to date on important notes or events. In addition, you will assist in maintaining the proper setup of the dining room and provide support to servers as needed to guarantee smooth operations.

The position requires a candidate with a background in customer service and a commitment to safety and sustainability practices. You will also be responsible for handling reservations and special functions, helping to coordinate the restaurant's busy schedule effectively. Physical endurance is important for this role, as it involves standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, and other physical activities essential in a dynamic restaurant environment. This part-time or full-time position offers competitive compensation starting at $21.00 per hour and opportunities for career advancement, such as becoming a Food Server, Guest Service Agent, Restaurant Supervisor, or Front Office Supervisor.
