Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a host or in a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure when addressing guest concerns
- Basic familiarity with restaurant seating systems and waitlist management
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Job Duties
- Greet guests cheerfully and sincerely
- Seat guests at tables quickly and efficiently
- Accurately record guest names on the waitlist
- Maintain an organized and attractive front dining area
- Answer telephone calls promptly
- Collaborate with servers, expo, and bussers to ensure smooth operations
- Provide accurate wait times and handle guest inquiries politely
