The Guest Service Agent is responsible for greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, and presenting menus, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they enter. This customer-facing role also involves coordinating communication across shifts via detailed logbook entries, assisting in dining room setup, supporting service staff as needed, and managing reservations and special function arrangements. An important aspect of this role is adherence to sustainability guidelines as detailed in the EarthView program, which emphasizes environmentally responsible practices within restaurant operations. Additionally, the candidate must follow safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment and compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards. The position requires physical stamina as it involves prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and other movements necessary in a busy restaurant setting. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including walking, pushing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling or crouching
- availability to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends

- previous customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- greet and escort guests to restaurant tables in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards
- meet and greet guests on arrival offering choice of seating and present menu
- read and maintain daily log book for communication between shifts and management
- maintain proper dining room set-up
- assist with service as needed
- manage reservations and special functions arrangements
- follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView program
- practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- perform other duties requested by management
