The Host role at Cracker Barrel is a pivotal position that focuses on creating memorable moments for guests from the moment they arrive. Hosts greet guests with warmth and friendliness, manage the flow of the dining room efficiently, and ensure that each table is ready for new arrivals. This position is key to maintaining the welcoming atmosphere Cracker Barrel is known for, as well as supporting the dining experience by keeping waitlists organized and communicating with guests in a positive and approachable manner. The role also comes with extensive growth and development possibilities, beginning with the industry-leading PAR training program which sets the foundation for success within the restaurant and beyond. After 90 days, employees can participate in the company’s 401k plan with matching contributions and have the opportunity to enroll in the Employee Stock Purchase Program. Beyond these essential benefits, Cracker Barrel fosters a culture that values camaraderie through recognition programs, employee events, and a strong onboarding and training process. Additional perks include a 35 percent discount on Cracker Barrel food and retail items and access to exclusive discounts on home goods, travel, cell phones, and more.
