Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hosting or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Basic math proficiency
- Familiarity with POS systems or reservation software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Job Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and quick on your feet
- Can communicate clearly in person and on the phone
- Organized and confident using a POS or reservation system
- Comfortable handling basic math for party counts, bills, or reservations
- Previous host or customer service experience a plus
Job Duties
- Greet every guest like they're family and seat them with intention
- Manage reservations and waitlists, making sure both guests and servers are set up for success
- Stay aware of what's happening in the restaurant - events, crowd flow, table turns, and special requests
- Keep up with the menu, specials, 86'd items, drinks, and anything else guests may ask about
- Know your floor plan like the back of your hand - seat numbers, capacity, setup, and more
- Share info about local happenings or attractions to enhance the guest experience
