Job Requirements

A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
Restaurant experience a plus

Job Qualifications

Experience in a customer service role preferred
Basic familiarity with point-of-sale systems
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Knowledge of restaurant operations is an asset
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list as necessary
Seating guests at tables and providing menus
Assigning guests to tables they prefer while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers
Answering phone calls and taking orders to go
Having a knowledge of the menu
