Job Description

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a well-known full-service restaurant chain recognized for its laid-back atmosphere, uniquely quirky vibe, and delicious burgers beyond ordinary expectations. Established as a high-volume dining destination, Red Robin prides itself on delivering not just great food but also memorable experiences that make guests smile. The company values connection, fun, generosity, and a strong sense of belonging, welcoming a diverse team that thrives on shared passion and unbridled hospitality. This culture of inclusivity and fun sets Red Robin apart from typical burger restaurants, making it a favorite for both guests and employees alike.

Red Robin is currently hiring for the position of Host, a critical role in their Front of House service team. The Host acts as the first point of contact for guests, responsible for making a great first impression by providing a friendly, welcoming demeanor. This includes greeting guests warmly, escorting them to their tables, and managing reservations along with waitlists when necessary. The role requires excellent customer service skills since Hosts directly influence the overall guest experience and set the tone for the rest of the dining visit. This position is perfect for individuals aged 17 or older who enjoy interacting with people and contributing to a vibrant, energetic work environment.

This is an hourly, frontline position with a competitive pay range of $14.00 to $16.90 per hour. Red Robin offers flexible work schedules, making it an excellent opportunity for students, part-time workers, or those seeking work-life balance. Employees also benefit from generous discounts, including 50% off Red Robin food for themselves and 25% off for their family members. Additionally, Red Robin provides referral bonuses to encourage team growth, alongside other compensation elements such as an Employee Stock Purchase Program for those with more than one year of service working 20 or more hours per week.

Beyond wages and bonuses, Red Robin is committed to supporting employee well-being with a comprehensive benefits package. Eligible employees aged 18 and older can access health insurance plans covering medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage. For those who meet certain criteria such as age, tenure, and hours worked, retirement benefits through a 401k plan with company matching up to 4% of pay are available. Paid time off accrues for those with over a year of service working at least 35 hours per week, calculated at 0.0192 hours for each hour worked. Applications for this role are accepted on an ongoing basis, offering a continual opportunity to join a growing, dynamic team.

Joining Red Robin means becoming part of a company with a clear mission: Make it fresh. Make it fun. Make it memorable. And above all, make 'em smile. Many current managers began their careers working in hourly team positions, highlighting clear pathways for growth and development within the company. Whether you are looking to start a career in hospitality or seeking a supportive and lively work environment, the Host position at Red Robin offers a rewarding and engaging experience where you can grow and thrive.
