Job Requirements

Consistently arrives to work as scheduled, prepared to assume shift responsibilities
consistently arrives well groomed and in proper uniform
greets all guests, delivery drivers, and vendors promptly and hospitably
answers phone calls professionally and in a timely manner
presents menus to guests as they are seated
reports any items left by guests, staff, or vendors to the manager on duty
demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of menu and can stage and expedite orders
understands dining room and seating rotation
ensures all take-out and delivery orders are correctly entered, bagged, and presented promptly
assists front-of-house staff with bussing and station stocking
assists with beverage refills and clearing plates and glassware
thanks guests as they leave
complies with all employee handbook policies and training materials
follows management directives including cleaning, sanitation, and safety requests
conducts daily cleaning projects effectively
complies with break policy and clocks in/out for breaks
manages wait list and quotes wait times accurately
able to work varied shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends
able to perform well in a fast-paced environment under pressure

Job Qualifications

Is able to obtain valid Food Handler's Card and OLCC Server Permit
able to arrive to work on time, ready to start a scheduled shift
displays knowledge of hospitality, service, and restaurant operations
maintains a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards coworkers, management, delivery drivers, vendors, and guests
able to perform basic mathematics accurately
can verify, count, track and manage payments from cash, credit cards, checks, paid outs, gift cards/certificates, coupons, promotional materials
proficient with Micros POS system
capable of maintaining a friendly smile and positive demeanor at all times
demonstrates good time management skills
able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
practices proper hand-washing and food handling techniques
follows safety measures including sanitizing and cleaning
complies with OLCC regulations and Pastini house policies regarding alcohol sales
