Job Description

Red Lobster is a well-established and beloved family-owned seafood restaurant chain that has been serving customers for over fifty years. It began with a vision to provide people with a unique connection to seafood and the coastal experience. Today, Red Lobster operates more than 500 restaurants, each acting as an extension of the founding passion for quality food, exceptional moments, and community engagement. Red Lobster is not just a place to dine but a place where guests come to enjoy memorable meals and where colleagues join to become part of a welcoming family atmosphere.

The company offers a dynamic and supportive work environment with competitive wages and weekly pay, along with flexible scheduling options that accommodate the diverse needs of its team members. Benefits include affordable medical, dental, and vision plans starting at less than $10 per week, along with life insurance, short-term disability, and additional voluntary benefits. Red Lobster also provides a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match after one year of service, anniversary pay for eligible employees, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. The company values growth and advancement, providing training and career opportunities for employees to develop and advance within the organization.

As a Host at Red Lobster, you will be the friendly face greeting customers as they enter the restaurant, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your role is pivotal in making guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive until their departure. You'll be responsible for accurately managing wait times, reservations, and ensuring that guests receive personalized and special experiences. Escorting guests to their tables seamlessly while maintaining a warm and pleasant demeanor is key. Your focus will be on both the guests and your team, striving to make decisions that benefit everyone and enhance the overall atmosphere and efficiency of the restaurant.

Physical requirements of the Host position include being able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely. This role requires mobility throughout the restaurant and the ability to be on your feet for shifts ranging from eight to twelve hours. Teamwork, attention to detail, and effective multitasking are essential qualities that help the host thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Red Lobster is gearing up for an exciting future with big plans on the horizon. The company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer that fosters a welcoming and inclusive workplace. Red Lobster is committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a vibrant, growing family that values community, quality, and personal development. There has never been a better time to join the Red Lobster family and embark on a rewarding career journey.
