As the first point of contact for guests, the Host provides welcoming hospitality with a warm smile, engaging guests in friendly conversation during seating and introduction to their server. The Host is responsible for managing the restaurant waitlist during peak hours, accurately setting guest expectations to ensure a smooth flow and minimal wait times. Furthermore, the Host sincerely thanks guests as they leave and invites them to return, fostering repeat business and positive impressions. In addition to guest interaction, Hosts maintain cleanliness and sanitization of various guest touch points throughout the dining area, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
- basic proficiency in managing waitlists or reservation systems
- ability to provide excellent guest service under pressure
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role beneficial
