Job Requirements

At least one year of restaurant host experience required
Positive energy
Ready to assist fellow support staff
Work as a team player
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and all guests
Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Qualifications

At least one year of experience as a restaurant host
Positive energy and readiness to assist support staff
Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
Ability to work as a team player
Ability to accommodate special seating requests when possible

Job Duties

Take reservations using the online reservations system in OpenTable
Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival and thank guests as they leave
Provide guests with estimated waiting times when seating is limited
Notify party when table becomes available and accommodate special seating requests when possible
Act as a liaison between the kitchen and dining room
Relay messages to support staff and managers as needed
Maintain organization of table times and seating arrangements
