Job Description
The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is a distinguished hospitality company founded in 2009 by Steve Palmer. With more than 30 locations, IRHG stands out in the hospitality industry by fostering an environment where their team members come first. They believe that by taking great care of their employees, those employees are best equipped to take care of their guests. IRHG offers generous benefits, multiple job openings, and ample opportunities for internal growth to those who are eager to advance their career within the company. At IRHG, hospitality is more than just a job — it is a family, a lifestyle, and an exciting journey built on passion and heart.
As a Host at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, you will be the first and last person every guest sees during their visit, playing a crucial role in shaping their dining experience. Your warm greeting and gracious farewell will set the tone for excellent customer service and hospitality. This role requires you to manage the reservations efficiently through the OpenTable system, maintain organization with table times, respond to guests' seating preferences when possible, and provide calm and courteous communication when the restaurant is busy. You will also act as a vital communication link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
This dynamic position at IRHG demands a positive energy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with fellow staff members and management. Flexibility with your schedule is important as shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, this job involves constant standing and walking, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting. The work environment is fast-paced and rewarding, offering competitive pay and the chance to grow within a constantly evolving hospitality team. IRHG is deeply committed to equal employment opportunities and promotes a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all team members.
