The role of the Host is a vital part of our operation as the first point of contact for our guests. The Host is responsible for warmly welcoming guests to the restaurant, ensuring that they are promptly seated and that their dining experience begins efficiently and smoothly. This position is essential in managing the flow of guests, maintaining waitlists during busy periods, and handling reservations to provide a seamless dining experience. The Host also manages the distribution of menus and communicates clearly with guests by announcing the server’s name to foster a friendly and organized atmosphere.
In addition to front-of-house responsibilities, the Host plays a critical role in supporting the takeout service by following established procedures to process to-go orders accurately and efficiently. This includes taking and assembling orders, explaining menu items, and providing personalized food and drink suggestions to enhance the takeout guests' experience. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in an energetic and customer-focused environment.
The individual in this position must be customer-oriented, able to work collaboratively with wait staff and kitchen teams, and maintain cleanliness and organization within the reception and dining areas. Physical stamina is necessary to meet the demands of the job, as it involves considerable movement, including standing, walking, and bending.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume shifts while providing excellent guest service
- strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- understanding of restaurant etiquette
- familiarity with health and safety regulations
- experience in managing reservations
- successful completion of hourly position validations including company-required training such as safety, systems, and menu

Job Duties
- Welcome guests to the restaurant
- provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists

- cater to guests who require extra attention
- answer incoming calls and address customers' queries

- assist servers in clearing used glassware, plates, and utensils off tables

- take accurate orders from guests and assemble prepared food and drink orders
- explain menu items and offer suggestions to guests
- assemble and walk orders to guests for pickup inside and curbside pickup in a timely manner
