The Host role at HOUSEpitality Restaurants is a pivotal position, serving as the first point of contact for guests as they enter the dining establishments. Hosts are responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing reservations efficiently, and escorting guests to their seats while setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills to engage with both guests and internal team members, ensuring smooth coordination in the dining environment. The host must have a thorough knowledge of the menu and daily specials to answer any initial questions and inform guests about promotions and their servers. Managing the flow of guests to the dining and bar areas, providing accurate wait times, and accommodating special requests are key duties that contribute to maintaining high guest satisfaction. Additionally, hosts support other restaurant positions as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented attitude.
