The role of the Host at Won't Stop Hospitality is crucial as the initial and final point of contact with guests, shaping their overall perception of the dining experience. As the face of the restaurant, the Host is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing seating flow strategically, and maintaining communication with both service and management teams to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. The Host supports the entire restaurant operation by managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and assisting service staff with bussing and resetting tables. Job Requirements
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
- Must demonstrate basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prep procedures
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently in the primary language of the property location
- Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary
- Ability to successfully re-prioritize tasks in a moment's notice
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Must maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Physical ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, lift, carry, push, or pull light to heavy weight
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Promptly make eye contact, smile, and greet each guest as they enter the restaurant
- Warmly welcome guests and determine the most efficient way to accommodate their dining experience
- Maintain flow and rotation of seating to ensure smooth service and balanced sections
- Practice keen organizational acumen and communicate seating needs effectively to service and management teams
- Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
- Maintain an accurate waitlist, quoting realistic wait times and providing updates as needed
- Assist service staff with bussing, cleaning, and resetting tables to maximize seating efficiency
- Observe guest body language and dining patterns to proactively communicate needs to service staff
- Complete each dining experience with a warm farewell and sincere invitation for a return visit
- Maintain composure and a welcoming demeanor during peak service hours
- Other duties as assigned
