We are currently hiring full-time and part-time Hosts or Hostesses who will play a crucial role in delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. The Host is often the first and last point of contact for guests, making it essential that they provide a positive and professional impression at all times. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing wait times, answering any questions they may have, and ensuring that the seating arrangement is managed efficiently. The Host must uphold P.F. Chang's high standards for safety and sanitation by keeping the front door, host desk, lobby area, and crowd control sanitized throughout their shift. They will learn the restaurant's seating layout, how server areas are divided, and how to support the timely delivery of food. Hosts also handle curbside orders and takeout expectations, making this a dynamic and varied role. Job Duties
- Interact courteously with guests including answering phones, greeting guests, seating guests, making reservations, and taking food orders
- Uphold high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area, and crowd control
- Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food
- Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang's specifications
- Learn curbside process and takeout expectations
- Conduct side-work as required for each shift
