Job Description
Red Lobster is a well-established and renowned seafood restaurant chain with a rich history spanning over fifty years. Starting as a family-owned restaurant, Red Lobster has grown to operate more than 500 locations, each carrying the founding passion of connecting people to the coast and quality seafood. More than just a place to eat, Red Lobster prides itself on being a part of the communities it serves, fostering a welcoming environment where new guests quickly become familiar faces. The company emphasizes not only its culinary offerings but also the special moments shared around the table, aiming to create memorable and satisfying dining experiences for all its patrons. This dedication to quality and community is echoed in its workplace culture, where employees are valued members of the Red Lobster family.
As a Host at Red Lobster, you will play an essential role in shaping the guest experience from the moment they enter the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include warmly welcoming guests with a smile, accurately quoting wait times, and managing reservations efficiently. You’ll ensure every customer is attended to with care and provide a seamless transition to their dining experience by escorting them to their tables. The role also involves offering a gracious farewell, inviting guests to return for future visits. Success in this position relies on focusing intently on both team dynamics and customer satisfaction, as each decision should reflect the best interests of both guests and staff. The position offers a supportive and dynamic workplace with flexible hours and competitive pay, underscored by several employee benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company contribution after one year of service. Additional perks include paid time off for anniversaries, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Above all, Red Lobster is committed to training and offering advancement opportunities, making it a place to grow your career in hospitality.
