Job Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
- Capacity to work as part of a team
- Ability to provide leadership and resolve guest conflicts
- Ability to follow verbal directions and understand safety signage
- Active listening and observation skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to frequently walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work varied hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Leadership skills with the ability to guide and support team members
- Knowledge of guest service best practices
- Basic understanding of safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to recognize repeat guests and personalize service
Job Duties
- Provide a warm and enthusiastic greeting to guests
- Manage seating arrangements according to Inn standards
- Communicate effectively with wait staff regarding guest seating
- Answer guest questions and handle special requests professionally
- Assist servers with pouring water, clearing, and resetting tables
- Maintain a neat and organized host station and entrance area
- Monitor guest needs and ensure excellent service throughout their visit
