Founded in 1969, the company has grown to become a cherished place for families, friends, and travelers to gather around delicious food, abundant servings, memorable shopping, and friendly hospitality. Cracker Barrel prides itself on its roots while continuously innovating and fostering a culture of belonging among its more than 70,000 team members nationwide. The restaurant emphasizes delivering more than just a meal - it's about creating moments that matter, whether big or small, in an environment that feels like home.

Joining Cracker Barrel means becoming part of an organization that deeply values its employees and their development. The company offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits starting from day one, and numerous growth opportunities through industry-leading training programs. Cracker Barrel’s inclusive workplace culture supports individuals at all levels and backgrounds, encouraging positive energy, teamwork, and personal and professional growth.

The role of Host at Cracker Barrel is vital in crafting exceptional guest experiences. As a Host, you will be the first friendly face visitors see, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every guest feel welcome from the moment they step inside. Your responsibilities include managing the waitlist, keeping the dining room organized, and ensuring tables are set and ready for new guests. A calm demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities. No previous restaurant experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided, emphasizing that at Cracker Barrel, every team member’s contribution matters.

This position is perfect for individuals with a people-oriented mindset who thrive in a friendly, team-first environment. The company values hosts who bring enthusiasm, patience, and a warm approach to guest interactions. If you enjoy making meaningful connections, managing the flow of a busy dining room, and working with a dedicated team, this role may be an excellent fit. Beyond the rewarding work itself, you will benefit from Cracker Barrel’s competitive compensation, health insurance eligibility from day one, paid vacation time, 401k plan with company matching, employee stock purchase program, and exclusive discounts.

In summary, Cracker Barrel offers not only a job but a place where you can belong and grow. Employment with this restaurant chain means you contribute to a longstanding tradition of hospitality and quality service while enjoying a supportive and rewarding workplace environment. Becoming a Host at Cracker Barrel is an opportunity to make moments matter for guests and yourself in an atmosphere where everyone is valued and part of good company.
