Part of Darden Restaurants, Olive Garden is committed to supporting its team members through a range of benefits and a positive work culture that encourages growth and development.
As a host at Olive Garden, you will be the face of the restaurant and play a crucial role in creating an exceptional guest experience from the moment they enter until they leave. Hosts are responsible for warmly welcoming guests with a genuine smile and friendly conversation, creating a safe and inviting environment for dining. You will guide guests to their tables, provide clean menus, and offer suggestions to enhance their meals. In addition to these responsibilities, hosts ensure all areas are regularly sanitized and disinfected to maintain the highest standards of health and safety. You will also manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize the flow of service and contribute to a smooth dining operation.
This role offers flexible scheduling to accommodate personal life commitments such as schooling, childcare, or family care. Olive Garden values its employees and believes in rewarding hard work with competitive wage rates ranging from $15 to $18.25 per hour. In addition, team members enjoy weekly pay and anniversary pay as recognition of their dedication. Paid sick leave accrues at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, starting immediately upon hire, and after one year of service, employees become eligible for paid family and medical leave of up to two weeks.
Olive Garden provides medical and dental insurance options to support employees' health and well-being. Opportunities for career advancement abound, with over 50 percent of management roles filled through internal promotions from hourly positions. The company offers ongoing training to help staff build essential skills for both current responsibilities and future career growth. Employees also receive discounts on cellphones, travel, electronics, and much more, as well as participation in a 401(k) savings plan with company matching after one year of service.
Working at Olive Garden means being part of a family that prioritizes health and safety, clean and sanitized environments, and excellent customer service. If you enjoy engaging with guests and providing a memorable dining experience, this host position could be the perfect opportunity. Olive Garden is eager to welcome new members to their family-oriented team, where each person plays an important role in delivering top-notch hospitality that keeps guests coming back time after time.
