Job Description

For the Host position at Olive Garden, pay varies depending on location, and the role is instrumental in ensuring the guests' first impression is warm and inviting. As a Host, you are the face of Olive Garden, responsible for creating a welcoming, safe, and clean environment from the moment guests enter the restaurant until they leave. Hosts guide guests to their tables, present menus, and offer friendly conversation, making everyone feel at home. The role also involves maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation, regularly sanitizing guest and team member touch points to ensure a safe dining experience. Hosts contribute directly to the restaurant's success by building loyal relationships with guests, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the team to create memorable dining experiences. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • manage and organize the waitlist and seating chart
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of host station and guest touch points
  • present menus and provide information about the menu
  • guide guests to their tables and assist as needed
  • thank guests at the end of their dining experience and invite them to return
  • collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth guest flow
