Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano is currently hiring Hosts who will play a vital role in shaping guests' first impressions and ensuring a smooth dining experience from the moment they walk through the door. As a Host, you will be the welcoming face of the restaurant, responsible for greeting customers warmly and assisting them with reservations. This role requires someone who can manage and optimize seating arrangements to balance the workload among wait staff, provide accurate wait time information, and answer any initial questions customers may have about the menu or restaurant services. Hosts also handle important administrative and operational duties such as answering phones, scheduling reservations, performing side work, setting up stations, and maintaining light restaurant upkeep.
This position requires friendly, hardworking individuals who enjoy working with people and have excellent communication skills. A successful Host must maintain a positive attitude, be punctual, honest, and team-oriented, and have the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting without losing their composure. Flexibility in working weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential to meet the restaurant's operational demands. The role also demands physical stamina, as it involves standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
