Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must obtain or currently hold Food Handler's Card
  • Must obtain or currently hold Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification if applicable
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience hosting in an upscale restaurant setting
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Impeccable appearance and demeanor, reflecting the standards of an upscale dining establishment
  • Proficient in upscale dining etiquette and service protocols
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handler's Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification if required by law (certifications differ per state)

Job Duties

  • Provide first and last impressions that are lasting impressions
  • Maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout the shift
  • Answer the telephone in a friendly, upbeat manner and with a smile on your face
  • Perform the role of Greeter, Seater and Coordinator
  • Know menu details, drink specials/specialties
  • Greet guests with a warm, friendly smile and eye contact
  • Manage the seating list
  • Monitor wait times
  • Organize the seating of guests
  • Manage the communication throughout the restaurant
  • Provide relentless service to all guests
  • Manage call ahead seating and reservations
  • Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework
  • Complete restroom sanitation checks every 15 minutes
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure environment at all times
  • Notify a manager of all guest complaints
  • Assist bussers by clearing and/or wiping tables
  • Assist servers by refilling beverages
  • Assist bartenders by handling carry out orders
  • Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by a manager
