Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in fine dining or similar hospitality roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and think quickly
  • Proficiency with reservation and table management systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physically able to perform restaurant duties including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

  • 1-2 years of fine dining restaurant experience

  • Ability to serve alcohol

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first and last point of contact for guests representing the restaurant's culture
  • Demonstrate genuine hospitality and provide exceptional guest service
  • Manage phone lines and take reservations according to procedures
  • Oversee the online reservation and table management platform
  • Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus
  • Exhibit patience and manage pressure from guests and staff
  • Coordinate seating strategically in the dining room
  • Maintain communication with kitchen and management regarding floor status
  • Perform side work, setup, and assist with opening and closing duties
  • Promote and embody the restaurant's community and culture
  • Assist servers with serving food and alcohol
  • Walk to local businesses to promote and distribute marketing materials when needed
  • Support the restaurant’s eco-conscious vision
  • Model and promote teamwork and professionalism
