The Guest Services Supervisor position, reporting directly to the Guest Service Manager, is a pivotal role within the Guest Services Department at Aramark's conference center. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Guest Services team, ensuring 24/7 coverage and seamless guest experiences. The Supervisor coordinates registration functions, guest transportation, and provides leadership and training to front desk and concierge personnel. Through effective supervision and sustained communication with various departments, the incumbent enhances guest satisfaction and ensures that every interaction reflects world-class service principles.

This role demands a proactive individual capable of implementing training programs aligned with Aramark's standards and client expectations, maintaining inventory and supplies, and managing operational systems such as property management and night audit functions. From managing check-in/check-out procedures to maintaining safe deposit box usage and monitoring cashier banks, the Guest Services Supervisor plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for all guests. The position also includes responsibilities related to emergency preparedness and compliance with safety protocols.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in hospitality services or related field
  • Proven leadership experience in guest services or supervisory roles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage and coordinate staff schedules
  • Basic computer proficiency including property management systems
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting bending pushing pulling walking and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Requires a positive attitude strong work ethic and a commitment to providing world-class service to the client guests and co-workers
  • A strong knowledge of personal computers is essential
  • Experience in all facets of providing guest services
  • Must be able to lead motivate and communicate effectively with others
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Preferably two years in hospitality services or like environment performing like duties as Guest Services or Concierge's supervisor
  • Must be able to read write and clearly speak English

Job Duties

  • Supervises Guest Services support staff in providing 24 hours a day 7 days a week coverage
  • Coordinates registration functions and transportation for all guests
  • Trains Front Desk Concierg personnel by utilizing training programs established in conjunction with Aramark and conference center clients
  • Oversees front desk and concierge's tasks to ensure world class service is provided including check in and check out functions
  • Maintains a limited supply of sundries and restocks as necessary
  • Issues and monitors safe deposit boxes
  • Designs and implements training programs to ensure staff are well versed in daily job functions safety awareness and Aramark policies and procedures
